About VMFA Teen Zine: Blueprint
Metropolitan Richmond teens in grades 6-12 submitted full-page entries for the fourth annual VMFA Teen Zine Exhibition Publication. Working with the theme of "blueprint," students were asked for a page from their sketchbooks, that represented their passion and ideas for making art. All 122 entries are exhibited in this year's Teen Zine: Blueprint.

What is a zine?
Short for magazine, a zine is a compilation of images, artworks and/or words that share ideas, inspire others, encourage creation, and make connections through self-publication and small, independent distribution. Zine pages can be folded, stapled, rolled, or even balled-up pieces of paper.
